How to Register Devices on Sigfox backend
Pre-requisite
- Device ID and PAC
- End Product Certificate (If the device is Sigfox certified)
Log in to the Sigfox backend platform here
Click on the Device tab.
Click on the “New” button in the upper right part of the screen.
Choose the desired group either from the Main Group or Sub-Group..
Complete the device information fields :
Identifier(in hexadecimal format) - Input the device ID.
Name - Input desired name of the device.
PAC - Input the PAC (Porting Authorization Code) of the device.
Note: For security purposes, As soon as the device is registered for the first time or re-registered in another independent group, the PAC changes.
End product certificate - Input product certificate if your device is Sigfox Ready, else tick the box and register the device as prototype.
Select device type
The device default setting is Activable. If this option is disabled, all messages will be dropped and the device cannot consume any token.This option could be updated by editing the device.
Finally select Ok to validate and proceed on the device registration.
