How To Decommission or Unsubscribe Device

How To Decommission or Unsubscribe Device

Important notice:

  • Once the device has been unsubscribed the active token will be permanently lost.

  • Unsubscribing the devices is the only way to stop billing.

  • Support@thinxtra.com can also help on decommissioning / unsubscribing the device by just filling out our Disconnection Request Form. This is likely the preferred method to unsubscribe in bulk, when there are more than 1 device.

Here's the guide to properly set the device to Off-Contract / Unsubscribe.

1. Go to the DEVICE and select the device ID that you would like to stop from being billed.

2. Once the device is selected, click the Unsubscription date to set the device into Off-Contract / Stop the billing.

3. After clicking Set, you can now choose your desired date to unsubscribe / Off-contract the device.

4. And for the last step you will be asked to confirm the unsubscription and the device token will be definitively lost and set the device in an Off-contract state.
